After much speculation, it has been officially confirmed that Mammootty’s next film with director Roby Varghese Raj will be titled “Kannur Squad”. The first look poster of the investigative thriller was released on Sunday, which is produced by Mammootty’s own banner, Mammootty Kampany. The movie is written by Muhammad Shafi and Rony David Raj, with cinematography by Muhammed Rahil and music by composer Sushin Shyam.
The distribution rights for the film in Kerala have been acquired by Dulquer Salmaan’s production house, Wayfarer Films. The remaining cast of the film is yet to be announced by the makers. Fans of Mammootty are eagerly waiting for the release of this upcoming thriller.
