Famous Malayalam actor Rajan P Dev passed away today due to liver problems. He was under treatment for a long time and was admitted to a private hospital. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and son. The funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday at 11 am.

Rajan P Dev was not just a successful film actor but also a talented theater artist. He won the state award for best theater actor in 1984 and 1986. His most notable play was “Kaattukuthira,” which was a turning point in his career and immortalized the character of Kochu Vava.

Rajan P Dev’s acting career spanned almost three decades, in which he appeared in approximately 180 films. He was known for his unique ability to add humor to villainous characters and acted in films in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. His last film was “Ee Patanathil Bhootham,” which stars Mammootty and is currently playing in theaters.
