“Gowri Munjal has come a long way in her acting career since making her successful debut in Puneet Rajkumar’s Kannada film “”Namma Basava.”” She has since starred in Allu Arjun’s Telugu hit “”Bunny,”” as well as Kannada films such as “”Gandana Mane”” with Shivarajakumar and “”Jaaji Mallige”” with Ajay.
Munjal’s next big project is a pairing with Malayalam superstar Mammootty in the upcoming investigative thriller “”Palery Manikyam.”” The film is directed by Ranjit and produced by A.V. Anoop and Subair under the banners of AVM Productions and Varnachithra Big Screen. Based on T.P. Rajeevan’s famous novel of the same name, “”Palery Manikyam”” follows the story of a village girl, Manikkam, who is brutally raped and murdered on the 11th day of her marriage.
