The recent box office success of Madambi, starring Mohanlal, elevated B Unnikrishnan to the status of a promising screenwriter. N Unnikrishnan is now preparing for his next project, titled “Pramaani,” which will feature Mammootty in the lead role.
Mammootty will play the corrupt Panchayath President Raghavapanikkar, a character with a blend of both good and evil, similar to Mohanlal’s role in Madambi. The cast also includes notable actors such as Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, and Salim Kumar.
Production for the movie is scheduled to begin at the end of the year, with a projected release date in March 2010.
