Mammootty fans association in the state over the Mullaperiyar Dam issue. The protest takes the form of Mass Prayer Sessions, with the aim of appealing to the government for favorable decisions and for political leaders to have more realistic thoughts on the matter. The protest includes ‘Shayana Pradhakshinam’ and prayer sessions at a mosque and churches. The state committee of the association has asked members to take part in the prayer sessions before a meeting between the two state Chief Ministers. The megastar (Mammootty) has not yet made any comments on the Dam issue.
