The creators of the film “Turbo,” starring Mammootty, have revealed a new intense movie poster. Alongside the poster, they introduced the character Turbo Jose, featured in the film directed by Vysakh, written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, and produced by Mammootty Kampany.
In the poster, Mammootty is depicted in simple attire, wearing a black shirt and a mundu (a traditional dhoti worn in South India, especially in Tamil Nadu and Kerala), with a short haircut and beard.
Emerging from a black jeep against a desolate and misty backdrop, it’s challenging to discern the specific role the actor portrays in the movie. Filming commenced in the first week of November.
Similar to the meticulous set designs of Kannur Squad, Turbo involves the creation of entire sets from scratch. Directed by Vysakh, this collaboration with Mammootty marks their third, having previously worked together on “Pokkiri Raja” (2010) and “Madhura Raja” (2019). The screenplay for Turbo is crafted by Midhun Manuel Thomas.
Additionally, besides “Turbo,” Mammootty will grace the screens in the film “Bramayugam,” with both movies slated for release in 2024.
