The much-awaited project featuring Malayalam superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal began filming in Sri Lanka on November 19, 2024. Tentatively titled MMMN, the film is directed by Mahesh Narayanan.
Visuals from the film’s launch have taken social media by storm. Alongside Mammootty and Mohanlal, the cast reportedly includes Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, and Fahadh Faasil. However, the makers have yet to make an official announcement.
The movie is produced by Antony Perambavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas and Anto Joseph of AJFC. Cinematography is handled by Manush Nandan, known for his work in Dunki (2023) starring Shah Rukh Khan.
This project marks a significant reunion of Mammootty and Mohanlal, who last shared screen space in Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty (2013) and Twenty Twenty (2008).
Meanwhile, Mammootty is collaborating with Tamil director Gautham Vasudev Menon on Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse, an investigative thriller. Mohanlal is gearing up for the release of Empuraan, the sequel to his blockbuster Lucifer, and also working on Thudarum with Shobhana and Hridayapoorvam with Sathyan Anthikad.
