Mammootty and Tamil director Gautham Vasudev Menon are joining forces in Dominic and The Ladies’ Purse, marking Menon’s Malayalam debut. Produced by Mammootty’s own banner, Mammootty Kampany, the film’s first look was revealed on Mammootty’s 73rd birthday, showing him as a detective in a bathrobe, surrounded by clues in a cluttered room – and a mysterious ladies’ purse on the floor.
Billed as a comedy-investigation thriller, the film also stars Gokul Suresh, Lena, Siddique, Vijay Babu, and Viji Venkatesh. With a story by ABCD writers Sooraj and Neeraj Rajan, and music by Darbuka Siva, Dominic and The Ladies’ Purse promises a unique mix of suspense and humor.
This collaboration adds to Mammootty’s diverse projects, including his upcoming Bazooka, in which Menon plays a prominent role. Fans can look forward to a fresh twist in Malayalam cinema with this exciting new thriller!
