Dulquer Salmaan, the son of Malayalam film superstar Mammootty, has made his acting debut in the film Second Show. He acknowledges that his father’s goodwill has given him a head start in the industry but recognizes that he will have to work hard to establish himself as a successful actor. Salman graduated from the US and was previously managing his father’s money matters before deciding to pursue acting. He is currently shooting for his second film, Ustad Hotel.
Dulquer Salmaan says that while working on his debut film, he sought advice from his father, and would like to work with him in the future, but acknowledges that he needs to earn it through hard work. Salman got married to A. Sufia last December and says that language is a barrier for her, but they are adjusting to his acting commitments.
