Gautami Nair is a confident and poised actress who is awaiting the release of her debut film “Second Show” opposite Dulquar Salman, the son of Malayalam film superstar Mammootty. She reveals that she never planned to pursue a career in the film industry and that her entry into the field was accidental. She was studying Pharm D in Amrita, but later realized it was not for her. She then started preparing for medical entrance and it was then that she got the opportunity to audition for “Second Show”. She said that her only interest in the film industry was in playback singing. She describes the experience of working on “Second Show” as a “jolly good ride” as majority of the cast and crew members were first-timers and the atmosphere was freewheeling and fun, with many funny moments.
