Awards are a relief during crises: Mammootty

The recent producers’ strike in Mollywood had a negative impact on actors, directors, production companies, and others in the industry. However, the stars were still present at television shows and award functions, which gave them a chance to be in the spotlight. Mammootty also commented that these award functions were a relief during the crisis in M’Town. He was pleased to have the opportunity to honor Padmasree K J Yesudas with the best singer award.
