Mammootty to set big release for Adaminte Makan

Superstar Mammootty is interested in distributing the award-winning film “Adaminte Makan Abu” nationwide. His distribution company, Playhouse, has reportedly sent an official communication to this effect. Two other major distributors, Kas Kalasangam and Vaishaka, have also approached the film’s first-time director Saleem Ahmed. The film, made on a budget of 1.5 crore rupees, has received recognition at this year’s national film awards. The release of “Adaminte Makan” is tentatively scheduled for June 25 across the state.
