Upendra to remake ‘Best Actor’

Upendra, a Kannada movie star, will be remaking the Malayalam movie “Best Actor” starring Mammootty in the lead role. Upendra himself will play the role of Mammootty in the Kannada version of the film. The film, directed by Martin Prakkat, is about a school teacher who has a secret dream of becoming a film actor. The story follows the teacher’s attempts to fulfill his dream and how a series of incidents changes his life. The Kannada version will be produced by Upendra after being impressed by the Malayalam film.
