Special screening of ‘Dr. Ambedkar’ evokes good response in Hosur

“Dr. Ambedkar”, a film about the life of the Indian Constitution architect Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, received positive feedback from the audience in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The film was screened by the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers’ and Artistes’ Association and attracted over 1,000 viewers, including students, officials, and members of Dalit associations. The film, which stars Mammootty and Sonali Kulkarni, highlights Dr. Ambedkar’s efforts towards the socio-economic upliftment of the downtrodden and presents a vivid picture of the important decisions he took during critical moments in Indian history. The film has already been screened in several cities in Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Salem, Tirupur, and Erode.
