Vinoo Anand, known for directing the films “Oruvan” and “Heartbeats”, will be at the helm for Mammootty’s latest project produced by M.K. Nazar under Good Line production. The movie, which is yet to be named, will feature a script by Bipin Chandran, who previously worked on Mammootty’s “Daddy Cool”. Further details are still awaited.
In the meantime, Mammootty is preparing to play a Malayalee estate owner based in Karnataka in Shafi’s upcoming film “Chattambinadu”. The film will start shooting on September 9 in and around Pollachi and will feature Lakshmi Rai as the female lead. This is the third time that Mammootty and Shafi are collaborating, following the successes of “Mayavi” and “Thommanum Makkalum”.
