Scenarist-turned-director B. Unnikrishnan kicked off his directorial career with the film “Smart City,” starring Suresh Gopi. Unfortunately, it did not perform well at the box office. He then directed “Madambi” featuring Mohanlal as the lead, which became a hit. Unnikrishnan reunited with Suresh Gopi for the action movie “IG” after Madambi’s success. Now, he’s ready to work with Mammootty for the first time in the film “Pramaani.”
The film, produced by B.C. Joshi under the banner of Surya Cinema, will feature a script written by Unnikrishnan himself. The film will also include key roles played by Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Salim Kumar, and Suraaj Venjaramoodu. The shooting for “Pramaani” is set to commence in January 2010 and will be released in March.
