Megastar Mammootty would soon be busy shooting for his upcoming family thriller Daddy Cool. The film is been produced by Alvin Antony and Khader Mayyazhi under the banner of Wall Green Productions.
Daddy Cool narrates the story of a cricket-loving police officer named Antony Simon (Mammootty) and his son.
Earlier, Indian cricket player Sreesanth would don the role of Mammootty’s son but Sreesanth’s participation in this film is yet to be confirmed. It is heard that the makers are still on the lookout for a boy to play the son.
Assistant to veteran director Kamal would be making his directorial debut with this flick. Richa Pallod is the heroine. Bijipal has composed the musicon the lyrics jotted down by Anil Panachooran. Sameer Thahir, who had earlier cranked the camera for Big B, will handle the camera.
